There’s a row of towering pines visible through my studio window. Over the road is a State Park populated with Swamp Wallabies and Echidnas. At the bottom of the hill and over the creek is a deserted beach. Occasionally a pod of dolphins pops up to say g’day.
I lost my heart and found my art, here, on to the Mornington Peninsula. I draw it, paint it, photograph it, make prints of it. It inspires my writing, life drawing and even my kids’ books.
I strive to capture the feeling I have for this place, and hope through my art, that I can share it with others.
